Saturday scenes: maybe some sympathetic magic will help?

Gov. Jerry announced this week various measures to reduce California's water usage in this time of drought. But maybe we need something more ...

During the last major drought episode, I remember that some people held rain dances on Mt. Tam. Perhaps we should be waving our bumbershoots ... only temporarily rendered useless for their usual function.

Or we could just make art.

All out-takes from Walking San Francisco.

We just had a fine tropical shower, and our cat got drenched. Terry always rubs him down. He's Fred's towel boy!
I wish I could send that rain to you. My sister, who lives in Milpitas, just gave up on having a backyard lawn and put in gravel and pot plants.

Hey -- it rained a little this morning. Not enough to do any good, but still welcome.
