Having been caught up in various granfallons (thanks for an addition to my vocabulary), I appreciate your wariness. This one was so corporate--Coke, for goodness sake--that I was especially turned off.
So many of these efforts require everyday, personal change along with shifts by government and big biz that they have less and less appeal to me. My "neighbor," Columbia University has a much-touted environmental school. Yet on the street, the trees are decorated with small lights all year round. So?
